On Wednesday 29 April 2020, the UJCI, in collaboration with the UJ Library, hosted a Zoom seminar on ‘The Intellectual Work and Legacy of Thandika Mkandawire’. The speakers were Prof Gilbert Khadiagala of the African Centre for the Study of the United States at Wits University, and Dr Ibbo Mandaza of the Southern African Political Economy Series Trust. The seminar was chaired by Elinor Sisulu, human rights activist and award-winning author.
